TALK about silver linings. Jeremy Jordan starred in the very well-received musical "Newsies" at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey last fall (good). But when word came that the show would move to Broadway, he was already tied up (bad), having promised to star as Clyde Barrow in the Broadway musical version of "Bonnie & Clyde" (good). "Bonnie & Clyde" ran only a month (bad). Making Jordan available to play the lead in "Newsies" (very good), which is about the newsboy strike of 1899. It opens in March.
